This week I was talking about how much I miss the snow that comes with winter. Usually Utsunomiya gets about 1 or 2 snows that actually accumulate each year. Well, on Monday night we finally got a real snow and it has been so cold it hasn't completely melted yet. (Yeah!)
This morning after talking with a couple people from America, I went and pulled out my clothes from the washing machine. I headed outside to hang them up to dry and realized that it was snowing again. (Yeah!) Since my clothes were already wet I didn't think a few snowflakes would make them any worse, so I hung them up anyways.
This week I also received my test results in the mail to find out that I passed the level 3 Japanese proficiency test. (Yeah!) I got an 85%. My next goal in Japanese study is to reach 1000 Kanji by August.

Dude, that is AWESOME!!! Now that you aren't distracted by a crazy American in your room, and that annual outbreak of the Bruce Lee disease has passed I bet your making much better progress toward that 1000 Kanji mark.
Good motivation for me to get back to my goal of finishing this 5 page paper I'm typing. Some how that just doesn't sound quite as impressive.
