We will be doing our Freshman recruiting on April 9,10 this year and then have or first Friday BEST on the 11th. But before that gets started there will be a couple other things happening.
On April 2,3 I will be heading down to Shizuoka with Bryan and a few students to investigate our Hokkaido trip for this upcoming August. This will be my first time to go to Shizuoka and hopefully will be my first time to see all of Mount Fuji at one time. I have indeed climbed the mountain but have still never seen the mountain in person. Every time it has been cloudy, dark, or rainy when I have had a chance to see it.
Today, we have a temporary staff joining us for one month. Brian Buffington is going to visit us during the month of April and help with recruiting and the new school year. It will be exciting to see him and work beside him again.
Then at the end of April I will be moving into a different house. (Yeah!) We have rented a newer house and a much larger house. My 3 roommates and I will be moving into a new house which is almost double the size of our current house, it has a huge garden, and it will be a great house for student activity because 3 of the bedrooms can open into one room which recreates a great meeting place. We will probably get 1 more roommate and have 5 of us living in an 8 bedroom house for the same rental price per person. I can't wait to move but I have to be patient until April 27 when we can start moving into the house.
